- Of how absolutely wonderful I feel when I STOP running! It is very therapeutic psychologically speaking. I am more organized and tackle the world around me with more ease and with a smile on my face!

- Of the mental and physical fitness you can achieve. Rainy asked me to do this event and I can’t run it and that’s a sad state to be in that doesn’t jive with my values or professional role so by getting through in some way, shape or form…I hope to remind myself of how great it feels after you’ve completed a challenge that you had to dig deep to complete and how important it is to look after yourself!
- Running helps me to relieve stress. Sometimes I don’t want to run initially but afterwards I feel great…it also helps that my husband runs as well because he is motivating. I run because of the supportive group of friends I have made since I started running and I run because on Sundays after a long run we always end with a treat which is something to look forward to, as well as the company of friends!
- What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger!
